2022 Bursary Competition
The PIHG Board of Directors would like to invite entrants to submit their applications for our 2022 bursary award of $500.00, to be awarded at the winner’s high school graduation ceremony in 2022.
The eligibility requirements are as follows:
o Applicant must be eligible for graduation from Grade 12 at a high school in Manitoba, Saskatchewan or Alberta in 2022
o Applicant must be enrolled in a post-secondary education program in the field of Agriculture with the intention of beginning classes in 2022
o Applicant must have completed or be in progress to complete a Grade 12 physics, biology or chemistry class
o Applicant must submit a 500 - 750 word essay (See application form for essay options).
o Applicant must complete application form in full
Applications must be submitted by May 1st 2022. A winner will be chosen by June 11th 2022.
A winner will be chosen based on the structure, spelling, grammar, logical reasoning, use of factual information and bibliography of their essay along with their high school marks taken into consideration.

Congratulations to Kyle Johns from Hamiota, MB on winning the 2022 PIHG bursary. Kyle recently graduated from Hamiota Collegiate Institute. Kyle will be pursuing an education in Agriculture and is enrolled in the Crop Technology program at Lakeland College in Vermillion, AB. Best wishes Kyle!

Congratulations to Riley Janke on winning the 2021 PIHG bursary. Riley is from Marquette, MB and recently graduated from Warren Collegiate Institute. Riley will be pursuing an education in Agriculture at the University of Manitoba. Best wishes Riley!
